Security & Trust
An honest overview of how iVAtlas protects your data — no vague claims, no fake certificates.
What we actually do to protect your data
We do not hold or claim any ISO 27001, SOC 2, or PCI-DSS certifications at this time. We are a small product team applying industry-standard security practices via the Base44 platform infrastructure.
Where your data is stored
Your financial records (transactions, wallets, categories, goals, debts) are stored in a database that is scoped exclusively to your account — other users cannot read your data.
We do not store your data in any third-party CRM, analytics warehouse, or advertising platform.
What the AI can see
What is sent to the AI model:
- Transaction amounts and dates
- Category names you have defined
- Wallet names and totals
- Spending summaries (totals per category per month)
What is never sent:
- Your email address or name
- Your passwords or authentication tokens
- Bank credentials or card numbers
- Receipt images
- Data from other users
How to delete your account and data
You have full control over your data. Here are your options:
Delete all financial data only
Go to Settings → Account → Delete account data. This permanently removes all transactions, wallets, categories, limits, debts, goals, and reports. Your login account remains active.
Delete your entire account
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. All personal data including your email is permanently removed within 24 hours. This action is irreversible.
Export before deleting
Go to Settings → Data Backup → Export to download a full JSON copy of all your data before deletion.
Your account security tips
- Use a unique, strong password for iVAtlas that you don't reuse on other sites.
- iVAtlas will never ask for your password via email or chat.
- If you suspect unauthorised access, change your password immediately and contact support.
- Do not share your account credentials. iVAtlas is designed for personal use.
Data isolation
Each user's data is logically isolated in the database using row-level security. Your transactions, wallets, and all financial records are filtered to your account at the database query level — not just at the application layer.
This means even if an application bug occurred, it would not allow one user to read another user's financial data.
